Jim Schofield BSc FRAeS
Jim is Max Alpha’s Managing Director. He was the RAF’s lead test pilot for Harrier GR.9 and F-35, the Principal Tutor (Fixed Wing) on the Empire Test Pilot’s School and the senior Requirements Manager for F-35.
Jim has EASA and FAA instructional qualifications and has flown over 100 types across 100 years of aviation (1917 Bristol Fighter to F-35). After a stint as a British Airways pilot Jim is now the Chief Pilot, Head of Training, Compliance Manager and Safety Manager for the Boultbee Flight Academy.
Jim has over 15 years’ experience as a display pilot, flying aerobatic and historic types, and is an accredited Flying Display Director.
Lucy Schofield BSc
Lucy is Max Alpha’s Director of Administration and Resourcing with a background in the pharmaceutical and education sectors.
